Sculpture by the sea

Here are some pictures of Sculpture by the sea

On October 28th, my classmates and I went to Bondi Beach by train and by bus, to see Sculpture by the sea. It's an interesting excursion.
Most of us met each other at Kogarah Station at 9:00am, some classmates joined us at the last carriage of the train. Unfortunately, two classmates were late and could not take the same train with us. We spent several minutes waiting for them. While we were waiting, some classmates began to take pictures to grab the beautiful landscape of the coast. Then, we started our journey at the Bondi Beach.
The sculpture is exhibited along the coast between Bondi and Tamarama, integrated with the spectacular scenery of the beach(sun, ocean, sand and cliff), which offers 107 sculptures to be seen.Although it was a little cloudy, there are lots of people looking around the Sculpure. We could even see some primary school students there. Everyone had a camera and took pictures.
Attitudes towards the sculpture varied from people to people. Some people would like the abstract arts, while others prefer the funny one. For me, the most impressive sculpture is Harmony With The Breeze (Kozo Nishino). Standing on a steel pole, two delicate wings flap gently in the wind. It came into my eyes and made me think of a seagull. Seagull is a common seabird, which feeds cheifly on fish. Sometimes they float on the water leisurely, sometimes they fly in the sky. With their wings, they fly bravely and proudly whenever it is sunny, cloudy or stormy.
It took me 2 hours to see the sculpture. Billy, Ada and I met at the destination-Tamarama, then we decided to leave. After telling Marrion by phone, we left the beach at 12:oo am.
When I got home, I felt tired. However, it is worth seeing the sculpture.

Zhangjiajie

Look up the album I created of Zhangjiejie's picture.

Zhangjiajie is located in Hunan province in south China, which has an average of 16 degree centigrade, making it comfortable for tourists all the year round.
Zhangjia jie is famous for splendid, unique and mysterious mountains. Possessing an abundance of tourism resource, it becomes World Natural Heritage and World Geological Park. In Zhangjiajie, every stone looks like an animal or human and has an interesting story.
I visited Zhangjiajie in August 2007 with my friends. Everyday we had to walk 5 kms to visit different scenery. However, it is worth doing so. The landscape impressed all of us. We did have a good trip there.

About me

I am Orietta. I was born in Chaozhou, which is in the south of China. It is a famous city for lots of tourist attactions-clean air, historical buildings, delicious cuisine, etc. People who live there work hard and are good at doing business. They are called "Chinese Jew" for their smartness. A well-known billionaire LiJiacheng is from my hometown, which has made a greatly successful business and contribution to the charity.
I finished my college education in Guangzhou and then worked in an automobile company for 4 years. A month ago I came to Australia, and studied in Tafe. I think I will like this country, for the beautiful beaches, comfortable enviorment, and the friendly people.
